Saw the US Women’s National Soccer Team play in person. Bucket list!! Growing up, I started playing soccer around Age 5 and fell in love with the sport. In place of Backstreet Boys posters I had Mia Hamm and Brandi Chastain on my walls. For #tbt check out my high school soccer team photo. I hear chokers and large hoop earrings are coming back. 😁

Earlier this year we moved into our new home. It was a long time in the making and I couldn’t wait to have friends and family come visit us. I outfitted a room to make sure all our guests felt right at home and thought this notepad was the perfect addition to round out the look on the small writing desk (purely for decoration). After a couple months and several visitors I was rearranging the desk and happened to flip it open to find that our visitors had actually started signing the notepad like a guestbook. I was touched. As more and more people came to stay I never mentioned the “guestbook” yet somehow each and every one of them has managed to find it on their own and sign a quick note before they take off. It has thank you notes, funny stories about something that happened during their stay, a shout out to Bax, etc. It has now become one of my favorite things to go look at once our guests have left and things return to normal. That is how this promotional notepad went from a simple décor item to a keepsake. #thepowerofthepromo #laurensweek #employeetakeover
